Additional Information

Arne Jacobsen created the design and furniture for his innovative Munkegård Elementary School (1957), with its attached gardens for contemplation and tutoring, creating a soothing environment for the children.

The conception and construction of this elementary school was one of his post-war projects which took from 1948 until 1957 in Vangede, a suburb of Copenhagen.
